Kemi seems to be serious about saving the house. He even stopped joking around…
Lighting from the back
This episode (and the previous episode too) I tried having the main light for all the characters come from the back (the outside windows). I read somewhere that one of the lighting rules of the Lego movie was: “Thou shalt not suffer a character to be frontally lit without a very good reason” and was wondering what the effect would be. I rather like it, but it still needs some tweaking in the details. I’m also wondering how this will work in daylight scenes. I’ll work on it some more in the near future.

LEGO minifigs really do reflects lights a lot… Has to be the biggest challenge when trying to take pics of them… Strangely I had the same problem with LDD, as they a virtual lighting you can’t remove and recreate the light you could use in real life…
Kemi can be serious? I still have to see this happen for 2 episodes…
Seriously? LDD produces light you can’t remove? That’s a very strange feature… or glitch.
Problem is you can’t really see where it comes from until you build something… Like a sun ou can’t see but still reflects under a certain angle.
That sounds really annoying!
