From disappointment straight into mystery…
How people act in horror-movies
I’m always wondering at the actions of the people in horror-movies. Anytime someone is alone, at home, in the light and behind closed doors, sometimes even knowing a murderer is on the loose, and they hear something strange or plain scary outside (and in no way one of their loved ones seem to be outside), these people feel the need to open the door, go outside in the dark… alone… and ie a horrible death. I just don’t get that. Why would they go outside!?(except for “it’s written in the script” of course). Do you have any idea?

The exact same way that when I was a kid I couldn’t stand watching horror movie… Yet, if I accidentaly turn the TV on one, I wouldn’t be able to stop checking from time to time. I knew I would be disgusted with what I will see, making nightmares all night long, but I just couldn’t stop zapping on the horror movie.
I guess more than the real danger/potential threat, we are more scared not to know what is behind the door. Our imagination will create something so awful that it may be better to actually open it. Well sometimes we’re wrong LOL
“Our imagination will create something so awful that it may be better to actually open it.” Well, what can I say. If something is THAT awful… my doors will stay closed 😛
But you’ll never know what was on the other side…
