Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Today was a good day!

As you might know my all time favorite book is “Shadow of the wind” written by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. A magical book about a bookshop, an aspiring writer (Daniel Sempere), the cemetery of forgotten books and a mysterious book… and its writer.

It’s a beautiful story, captivating from the first few sentences. Last week the Dutch version of the fourth sequel was released and today Carlos Ruiz Zafon was in Maastricht for a greet and meet/ book signing. It was such a great moment and he seems to be a really nice guy… I was almost starstruck haha. Can’t wait to start reading again.

I might have asked this before, but what is your absolute favorite book, the one that got you thinking? The one that you can read again and again and still captivates you after a few reads?
