The Bookstore
The build for comic episode 25 of chapter 3. There are more angles than this, so I hope some will come in view during the comic.
I'm not that happy with woman behind the counter looking to the left. It would've been better if she was looking to the right, towards the talking people. The reason she looks to the left is that in the setup of this image for panel 4 in episode 25, she is looking at Dwaas. However, she didn't make it into the panel and I left Dwaas out of this image... so now she looks a bit strange.
... and Putor
And of course his little buddy has a name… everybody; meet Putor. 🙂
Smoke and shadows
You might not see it at first look, but there is some smoke in this image. I am trying to get some shadows in the scene. And to get the shadows in, I needed very hard light. To soften the lighting a bit, I added some smoke. I am not there yet, the effect of both the shadows and the smoke is there, but you’ll probably only notice it compared to the same photo without the shadow and smoke. trust me… this one’s better. But it’s not stunning… I’ll keep working on that.

Lonely Christmas
After loosing Kemi, Dwaas has a very lonely Christmas this year.
This year, many more people around the world experience loneliness than before the whole COVID-mess hit us. Count our blessings if you have only to stay away from your loved ones for one Christmas and New Years. Next year things will be different. For some… the loneliness never ends.
Merry Christmas everybody!

At the psychiatrist
Wes Anderson, here I come 🙂
I wonder what his problem is…. I also wonder if he’s still with this psychiatrist after the way he’s been treated.

Forever Friends
My favourite panel from episode 15. I like the build, atmosphere, colors lighting and composition. In my opinion, in this image it simply all comes together. The fact that it’s Willy and Fidelis is another component because of which I feel very connected to this image. Lastly, to ME the message of this photo is that you can choose to walk into the light, into a bright future and that even in darkness there is always a light to lead you the way out.

Misschien managed
After helping the Alchemist, she needed a little downtime. And nothing amuses her more than annoying the palace guards 😛

Scary railing
Of course the railing isn’t all that scary… but by the looks of this guy, whatever is down there on the other side of the railing is!

Monstrous fire
A barbecue at night.
Another remake
This is a remake of the situation in episode 9 and episode 10 of the comic. The main change of course is the way the night looks. In the episodes it’s basically darkness or for of an underexposure. in this image it’s more blue-is light, because I wanted to add a sort of moonlight. Still dark, but the moonlit environment brings a lot more to see. I tried this before, but couldn’t get it to work, but again; using a flash brought me the result I was looking for.
