easter Perspective

No matter how hard Dwaas tried, he just couldn't find any hidden eggs...
I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Anyway; happy easter everybody! Hope you all found what you were looking for!

Into the unknown

Into the unknown

It was terrible weather yesterday... looking into my backyard I saw that the rain had formed sort of a stream. And on that stream I saw this elf. Looking firmly ahead as if he knew where he was going. It looked like he had an interesting story to tell, but when I got outside, he was already gone. I hope to see him back, I really do. And I also hope the weather will improve now that spring has arrived.

Reading in the sun

... people who know the foolish Lego photography-project, know who has been reading in the sun the past few days. And I'm looking forward to joining him if this beautiful weather continues and I find the time.

Where no minifig has gone before

Where no minifig has gone before

... on the roof of my garden-shed that is. ;)

Yesterday it felt like the beginning of spring outside. It was beautiful weather and the sun was shining. Wauw! I have been been waiting for this. For some reason I climbed a ladder to the roof of my garden-shed and found sort of an alien world to me and the early spring-sun was lighting it beautifully (in my opinion).

Why did it look alien to me... I think it is a state of mind. When the beloved Leonard Nimoy pass away I got the urge to re-watch the Star Trek original series. So I am doing that every moment I find some time. It's great and I love to see (again) where and how the Star Trek canon started. It's still a great show after all these years. Rest in peace Mr. Nimoy, you wont be forgotten.

I just now realized this is a red-shirt.... Oh my... I have to go see if he made it of the roof...

My little light

My little light

The deeper the darkness, the easier it is to spot a little light. And one way or the other... (a) Dwaas always has been a light in my life in one way or the other.

Stand-in

Stand-in

It's getting increasingly difficult to do shoots with Dwaas. Now he insist on having a stand-in in some occasions. Not only is this kinda difficult to arrange (my other minifigs don't like the job), it's also taking too much time in photoshop to get Dwaas into my shots. I may have to have a little talk with Mr. Dwaas soon.

Where are we now?

Where are we now?

- "I don't know dear... but we're together and that's what counts!"

Nope, this photo is not based on my own situation ;) As a a reader asked me though, I AM looking for a direction for the photography. Since the year started my day-job has taken a huge amount of time and I'm struggling to even find the time to think up and make the photo's. Most of the time I used to develop the comic some more. This means the deepening of photography is on hold for now... I'll have to see what happens with time. But we'll get there; patience and time. Thanks for continuing to follow Foolish Lego everybody! I really appreciate it. :)
