DON’T MESS WITH THAT BOO…. …k… never mind.
The library houses many books, many of which can be extremely dangerous.
Maybe he missed. the memo, outherwise he would’ve kept his distance from these kind of books, especially the ones that house green saffier dragons!

Just hangin'
Lego toy photography
Xanthus was having a REALLY bad day…. and by the looks of it, it as about to get a lot worst.
My next home-project is to get my basement/ Lego studio sorted out and cleaned. Whilst breaking up a few sets I noticed the tree (Ninjago gardens) with these beautifully colored leaves, and cage (another Ninjago set). Because my desk was clean(er), I shot a quick photo. Nice and bright.
In hindsight I should have zoomed out more to make Xanthus and the tree look more alone. But then, I would have needed to build the rest of tree… and did not have time for that, so this will have to do… for now.

I’ve been experimenting a little with lighting setups…. Less is more so to say. This was shot with one light heigh camera-right and a small rimlight camera-left. I used a bouncecard to get a little more light into the back of the photo.

Mr. Dark (and his lovely wife) have entered the Comic… For those that know my photos from my 365 projects back in 2013 and 2014 know this bickering couple and their “endless love” for each other. Anyway, you can meet them (again?) in season 3, episode 30 of the Foolish Brick Comic.

The build for comic episode 25 of chapter 3. There are more angles than this, so I hope some will come in view during the comic.
I’m not that happy with woman behind the counter looking to the left. It would’ve been better if she was looking to the right, towards the talking people. The reason she looks to the left is that in the setup of this image for panel 4 in episode 25, she is looking at Dwaas. However, she didn’t make it into the panel and I left Dwaas out of this image… so now she looks a bit strange.

Smoke and shadows
You might not see it at first look, but there is some smoke in this image. I am trying to get some shadows in the scene. And to get the shadows in, I needed very hard light. To soften the lighting a bit, I added some smoke. I am not there yet, the effect of both the shadows and the smoke is there, but you’ll probably only notice it compared to the same photo without the shadow and smoke. trust me… this one’s better. But it’s not stunning… I’ll keep working on that.
